Lovely words to live by....
An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.'
1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.
16. Carry something to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
19 Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.
21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you Jesus .'
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.
33 Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36 Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.
'If God is for us, who can be against us?'
(Romans 8:31)
My instructions were to send this to four people that I wanted God to bless and I picked you. I decided to send on, because I didn't want to limit blessings.

My ideas on the bailout of the Auto Inturstry: .Saturday, November 08, 2008
THE AUTO BAIL OUT SHOULD BE BASED ON THEM HAVING A MODERN CAR NOW DESIGNED. AND NOT FOR PRODUCTION ON OUR PREENT TYPE OF AUTOMOBLE.
Why would we have to support production of obsolete type of cars. They should have seen this coming for some time. And started to prepare for it long time ago. And what would $25 billion dollars do for the auto industries to keep people working. Let them explain what a plan they should have by now. Just to show what they are going to do with this money they will be borrowing. Make them show they have been working on some thing that will help them keep employment working and not just production of the same old stuff, which is proven not to be what we need to turn green economy They should be looking for a car to make 50 miles a gallon at least. In hind sight they should have been working on this at least 5 years ago they must have been a sleep if they haven’t been concidering this any way. Or have been very greedy if that is the reason for doing nothing, would it be wise to loan them the money now.
The salaries should be adjusted be for they get any money, LIke from 80 to 90 dollares hour to 20 to 35.00 dollars hour. we can't afford those hi salaries.
Pass this to all. Thanks Harold C Fields.

A Post-Election Prayer - November 10, 2008
Almighty and Sovereign God, you alone are King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and Ruler of All Earth's Rulers. Therefore we ask you to . . .
Bless all those who have authority over us:
Parents who mold the lives of our children;
Teachers who shape the pliable minds of the young;
Local officials who are trusted to make our communities safe;
And all those who are charged with enforcing our laws.
Guide those who most powerfully influence our society:
Men and women who lead our states and nation;
Mayors, governors, representatives, and senators;
Justices who sit on our highest courts;
And those who surround and counsel our president-elect.
Give wisdom to those who make far-reaching decisions:
May they use their influence for what is good, not evil;
May they model integrity and wisdom, not hubris;
May they come to know they serve you, not merely the voting public;
And may they rise above selfishness, pettiness, and partisanship.
Provide daily blessings to Barack Obama, soon to be our nation's president:
Protect his health, his family, and his mental powers;
Provide him with wise counselors and personal discernment;
Let him both model compassion and inspire confidence;
And let him lead in paths of justice and integrity.
Shape the new President of the United States:
Help him to be the leader of all our people;
May he have wisdom beyond his years;
Lead him to bear great burdens with dignity;
And let him be your instrument for rebuilding a nation's confidence.
Then, for those of us who follow, help us to lighten our leaders' burdens:
Remind us to pray for our leaders more and to criticize them less;
Help us to understand how heavy their responsibilities are;
Grant us grace to honor those who lead well and wisely;
And build for all nations a world of peace and hope.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

He Never Promised
Us a Rose Garden
Matthew 5-7 is called the "Sermon on the Mount" because Jesus delivered it on a hillside near Capernaum and the actual sermon quite likely covered several days of preaching. Throughout the various themes within these chapters, Jesus proclaimed His personal attitude toward the law. Position, authority, and money are not important in His kingdom—what matters is faithful OBEDIENCE from the heart. The beatitudes tell us how to be "blessed" right now as the Gospel is for NOW as it was for then.
"Blessed" means more than happiness. It implies the fortunate or enviable state of those who are truly in God’s kingdom. These "attitudes" don’t just promise laughter, pleasure, or earthly prosperity. To Jesus, "blessed" means the experience of hope and joy, INDEPENDENT OF OUTWARD CIRCUMSTANCES and it is found ONLY IN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP with Him and in following Him no matter what the personal cost.
At this time in Jesus' ministry, enormous crowds were following Him. He was the "evangelist of the hour". I am sure that the disciples, who were the closest associates of this popular man, were tempted to feel important, proud, and possessive. But, before speaking to the crowds, Jesus drew these men aside and warned them of the temptations they would face as His associates. Jesus began His sermon with words that seemed to contradict each other; but God’s way of living usually contradicts the world’s view. Let's take a look at Matthew 5: 3-12.
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" (NIV, verse 3)
"You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With LESS OF YOU there is MORE of God and His rule." (Message)
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted" (verse 4)
"You're blessed when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you."
"Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth" (verse 5)
"You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought."
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled" (verse 6)
"You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat."
"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy" (verse 7)
"You’re blessed when you care. At the moment of being “carefull” you’ll find yourselves cared for."
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God" (verse 8)
"You’re blessed when you get your inside world—your mind and heart—put right. Then you can see God in the outside world."
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God" (verse 9)
"You’re blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That’s when you discover who you really are, and your place in God’s family."
"Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" (verse 10)
"You’re blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God’s kingdom."
"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you" (verses 11, 12).
"Not only that—count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit Me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—give a cheer even!—for they don’t like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble."
The be-attitudes should be taken as a "whole". We can't just pick and choose which one we’ll incorporate in any given situation. They describe what each of us should be like as followers of Jesus Christ. So, as I re-read them and recognize them as being the "standard" of what my life is to be in order to become Christ-like, I immediately see that in my OWN STRENGTH I could NEVER be/do all these in all situations. They bring me to the realization that it is only by GRACE that I am able to continually develop my Christ-like attitude (Acts 15: 11; Romans 3: 24-28; 4: 4, 16; Galatians 2: 16; Ephesians 4: 7). I am a "work in process".
I would like to give you a personal example of the REALITY of how the beatitudes remind me of my daily NEED for God’s GRACE. I have several family members who do not yet know the LORD as their Savior. Over the past six months it has become increasingly apparent that one of the enemy's chief means of attack on my spiritual life is through using those I dearly love. I have suffered two very recent attacks from three members of my family that have wounded me deeply. Since the most recent attack, I have not been in God’s Word, or in prayer as usual and it seems that my thoughts are often on the "issue", rather than on the One who is able to bring healing to my spirit. I have allowed anger and resentment into my heart and have chosen to "judge" these loved ones in that state of mind. Today, out of the blue, a dear brother asked me if I was "holding onto anything or anyone in this world, or was I free to meet Jesus." I KNOW God used this man to bring my focus back onto and into my true SOURCE of peace and joy!
I read the Beatitudes again and held this issue up to the “standard” of His Word and I found:
When I am at the end of my rope in any situation, HE IS THERE. When I feel I have lost some of the preciousness of family relationships, HE IS THERE. When I find I am not who I thought I was, but only a sinner saved by grace, HE IS THERE. When I choose not to seek Him and then realize I am becoming dehydrated, HE IS THERE. When I recognize that despite how my family treats me, I still love them and care about them, HE IS THERE. When I get my heart and mind focused on JESUS instead of the issue, HE IS THERE. When I extend the hand of reconciliation and put my family and their needs before my own, HE IS THERE. And above all, when my commitment to JESUS CHRIST provokes ridicule, rejection, or any negative action or word from those I care about, I WILL REJOICE BECAUSE HE IS THERE!
When I don't LIVE by the words spoken by Jesus, I may find myself only using God's WORD to promote "self-interest". If I truly want to live for God I must be ready to say and do what seems strange to the world. I must be willing to give when others take, to love when others hate, to help when others abuse. By GIVING UP MY OWN RIGHTS in order to serve others, I WILL receive everything God has for me both now and later. He never promised me a rose garden, but He did say, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Joshua 1: 5; Hebrews 13: 1- 8).
My question this week: "How do you measure up?"

Friday, November 07, 2008My last thing about the election, I just want to rate the News media because I thought they were so fare out of line. CNN was the worst I would rate them and 1 to 10 a weak 3. because they and their expert help where for one thing only to get that person elected they did every thing they could to accomplish that.
Fox News ahs been about half and half, half for the election as CNN did, and the other half for the truth in our election system.
MSNBC Did not watch them to much but would rate them a 6 because of their close connection with financial reporting.
CNBC I can’t rate them I use them for Financial reports only which they are good, for that.
C-SPAN. To me they have a strange mix of people for election coverage. But I use them to keep up with the action of Congress and Senate.
Just ramblings of Harold C Fields.

Thursday, November 06, 2008It is a crying shame that Obama supporters has so much to say against Gov. Palin, she come into the campaign with a very good reputation and good reports. But Obama supports or him sent 100 lawyers to Alaska all they could find out about her they could, and what came out of that every little detail made it look like she did not know any thing. It was a shame they said so much about her that was not true, it looked to me like they were so afraid of her that had to belittle her so that they would win the election. And to night they are still on here case for no good reason, they were sure out of line in their attack on her.
She is a person that has all the good values and is rated one of the best Gov. in America
So why are so many people saying so much about her, she is a true American with all the Good American values, take all they say about her is not true, to say she lost the McCain election is absolutely not true it seems to me that they think she might come out for the President election in 2012 or what other reason would they keep jumping on her this late time. It’s after the election she has all the American qualities to be our President and she would make a good one..

Thursday, November 06, 2008I hope the 86% will speech out laud and clear ever time they get a chane to , God Bless America.
It is the way I was brought up. in a family setting and studding the Pray, the Bible, Ten Commandment and God in the schools I was raised in, it is beyond me the people, President, Congress, Justas dept. and senate let this go with out shouting and using checks and balance to over turn the Supreme court ruling to take Prayer, God, Bible and Ten Commandments out of our schools, their has been two generations of our children that did not have the privilege to study and have Prayer, God, Bible and Ten Commandments in their schools. And look what the have turned out the news every night is so full of evil, Drunks, Pregnant girls, killings, robberies and ever other evil possible all because they did not learn God Prayer, Bible and Ten Commandments in their schools and at home. After the world war 2 every one went to work just to have stuff, no family life as we new it. God Bless America.
